LTX Ripple
Edit one frame. Ripple the change through the whole video.
LTX Ripple is a First Frame All Frames (FFAF) IC-LoRA for LTX-2.5. It allows you to make LTX as powerful as your favorite image editor, with smart first frame propagation that understands the edit contextually.
How it works
- Input your video.
- Edit and replace its first frame.
- LTX Ripple will figure out the rest of the video based on your image edit.
You may also give a brief description of what you changed to help it along, but the LoRA can work without even prompting anything.
- Prompt
- Example of replacing an object, adding special effects, and changing the lighting all at the same time. The scene reacts to both new light sources.
- Prompt
- Example of changing the lighting and background of the first frame, and the rest of the video is figured out without prompting, even when the camera swivels around.
- Prompt
- Editing the first frame to be on fire, the effect stays consistent throughout multiple camera cuts.
- Prompt
- Example of Ripple understanding that the liquid has been added in the first frame, and the liquid inside the glass flows in accordance with the original video's movement.
- Prompt
- Example of archviz/3d clay model texturing with only the untextured video and a textured first frame input. Texturing effect ripples through scene cuts.
- Prompt
- Here an interesting effect can be seen: because the edited first frame was sharper (notice the dragon details), the entire video has been sharpened.
- Prompt
- Example of outfit swapping. The new clothes still react to the model's movement and interaction
- Prompt
- Example of adding texture and material properties to an untextured 3D clay model.
- Prompt
- Example of face swapping. The new face follows the original video's movement.
- Prompt
- Example of a green screened actor driving the motion of a cgi model replacement.
- Prompt
- Example of lighting and texturing a cgi character and entire scene.
- Prompt
- Example of lighting and texturing a cgi character and entire scene.
- Prompt
- Example of lighting change and vfx.
- Prompt
- Example of changing the style of only one actor.
- Prompt
- Example of complete style change
Useful applications include:
- Adding Special Effects
- 3D model re/texturing
- Style Change
- Light source / time of day change
- Character Attribute Change
- Background Change
- Weather Change
- Archviz Retexturing
- Title/Logo Replacement
- Object Addition / Removal / Replacement
- Sharpening / Blurring
Recommended strength setting: 1.35
Increase the LoRA strength when the edit is not being carried through strongly enough. Decrease it when the output changes content that should remain unchanged.
Prompting
The default prompt used by the workflow is:
Use the reference video for motion, timing, camera movement, composition, and unchanged scene content, while consistently propagating the visual edit established in the first frame throughout the video.
For difficult edits, add a short description of the changed first frame. For example, describe the new lighting, object, material, style, or background that should remain consistent across the video.
Limitations and tips
- The first frame is the key control signal, so make the edit clear and coherent before running the video.
- Stronger edits may need a higher LoRA strength and a more explicit prompt.
- Very large changes, heavy occlusion, fast motion, or content absent from the source video may reduce consistency.
- Results depend on the LTX-2.5 checkpoint, resolution, frame count, sampler settings, and available hardware.
